Haribo gummies.
Okay, okay, calm down, we got the juicy deets. But before we tackle those important Qs, it occurs to me that you may not know what Sprinkles is. In short, Sprinkles is a cupcake bakery with locations in several states that went viral a decade or so ago for launching cupcake ATMs, mostly at malls and airports. Cute. Now that we’ve covered that, a “cupcake cup” is essentially like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup but instead of being filled with peanut butter, these Sprinkles cups have a frosting filling and come in Birthday Cake, Red Velvet, Double Chocolate, and Cookies and Cream flavors. If you ever wanted to try the cupcake ATM but aren’t in a city that has one, never fear, you can now kind of sort of try the famous cupcakes (albeit in cup-shaped candy form) at your local Target. It appears the Birthday Cake, Red Velvet, and Double Chocolate flavors are already in stores, and I am very curious if these cups will live up to the hype of the cupcakes for which they are named. But frankly, I am even more curious about these Target Haribo gummies.
They are in stores now, and they come in six shapes: a shopping cart, shopping basket, Target logo, Bullseye the Target Dog, Bullseye the Target Dog’s face, and Bullseye the Target Dog’s paw. The red gummies are raspberry flavored and the white ones are pineapple flavored (just like in the normal Haribo Goldbear packs), and perhaps the most important piece of information: I want them. Seeing as my love for Target is Target Lady adjacent in its fervor, my Target-loving self is absolutely going to buy these for the bit (and the emotional fulfillment). Because you know what? Life is a moving target, I do have high expectations and want to pay less, and furthermore, I love the idea of grocery cart-shaped gummies, sue me (actually please don’t, in the spirit of me “paying less”).
